"Sometimes you feel that in this nation we are second grade citizens. Are we the people who are not the first grade? Who are not the legal people in this nation? Should we run away from here? We are born and brought up in this nation, we are the sons and the daughters of this soil and we are not doing anything wrong to anyone, we are not doing any harm to anyone, we are only doing good to the people"

"The source of persecution remains the same. It is what we in India call “Hindutva”. It is what you would call and extreme right wing extremist religious fundamentalist group, which is political orthodox and is really militant. Is a composite of all of them, it is not just one organization, it is a range of organizations which are linked to the same single organization called the RSS, the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh or the national volunteer corps, and that is a very dangerous organization. Its thesis is “one mission, one people, one culture” and one culture means one religion. That remains the source."
